Pat was born in Sheffield on October 19, 1947 and sadly passed away at home in Prestwich, Manchester on June 16, 2013. She was much loved and will always be remembered by all her friends and family. Pat battled with cancer three times before she ultimately lost. Even so she beat the odds as she survived her eye melanoma for nearly ten years before it spread to her liver. She battled bravely and at all times was more concerned about how her illness was affecting others. She was in no pain and just slept peacefully until she slowly slipped away. Pat was a lovely gentle lady living life in a quiet and dignified manner. Her motto was "If you can’t find something nice to say about someone then best say nothing". She was a loving wife, caring mother, devoted relative and a loyal friend. These qualities were backed by a deep commitment to her Faith.
